Medium Wave The medium wave filament (IQH) has heating rates in up to 50 watts/inch. In the twin tube configuration, the maximum heating rate is 100 watts/inch. Lamp lengths up to 80 inches are possible. Short Wave The short wave element has a maximum heating rate of 100 watts/inch. In the twin tube configuration, the maximum heating rate is 200 watts/inch. Twin
Tube infrared (IR) elements from Soneko IR, Inc., provide a cost effective
solution for dryer lamp replacement and other systems that use Twin Tube
infrared emitters. The gold reflector coating on the quartz reflects over
90% of incident energy back to the target. The twin tube emitter can be
supplied with either a short or medium wavelength filament.
